Silver Anodised Bakeware Information

Silverwood Anodised Bakewareimproves with use!The silver anodised finish seals in the aluminium core and results in a smooth easy-release surface. During the anodising process, the molecules of aluminium change their structure to form an "anodic oxide film".

This change is permanent and the surface can never blister, peel or rust. After each use, the surface captures and retains a microscopic film of lubricant which builds up to form a patina. Provided you follow the Silverwood instructions for care and use, the patina and hence the easy release of your cakes and pastries, will improve with use.

The rules are simple:
Hand wash in warm soapy water, rinse and dry.

Use butter or ground nut oil as a lubricant Avoid:

Olive Oil (can leave a sticky film)
Strong degergants
Abrasive cleaners
Dishwashers
Use of knives and other sharp utensils
